Brett co-founded emagine with Bill Gadless at the dawn of the Internet age. He is responsible for developing the company’s long-range strategy and ensuring its financial stability, including acquisitions and managing investor relationships. Additionally, Brett oversees and drives emagine’s technical and operational infrastructure initiatives. It has been Brett’s relentless drive for process-efficiency that has enabled emagine to provide a seamless client experience in a highly-technical project environment. Brett’s philosophy in leading emagine can be summarized in four words: Value. Efficiency. Service. Quality.
Bill co-founded emagine with Brett Cohen at the dawn of the Web. Primarily focused on emagine’s sales and marketing strategy, Bill’s insights have appeared on various occasions in MarketingSherpa, dozens of industry sites and publications and on the national speaking circuit. Prior to emagine, he developed his marketing expertise while building a highly successful direct marketing venture. With a focus on emagine’s core industries and regional expansion, Bill has focused obsessively on building emagine’s brand within the B2B, High-Tech and Healthcare sectors. Starting in the Boston region, Bill has successfully taken emagine from a regional player to a national leader in emagine’s target industries.
Chris joined emagine more than 10 years ago with a vision to take emagine’s Creative Department to new heights, and that’s exactly what he did. As Creative Director, Chris consults with clients on all creative website elements, from branding to usability to the overall look and feel. Chris personally leads the creative direction for all websites designed by emagine to ensure they meet the high aesthetic standards our emagine and our clients. An avid cyclist, Chris rides his bike (weather permitting) 20+ miles each way to emagine’s headquarters.
As the VP of Digital Marketing Services, Alicia oversees the Digital Marketing team and the overarching SEO, PPC, CRO, and Social Media strategies and services offered by emagine. Additionally, Alicia actively participates in the sales process and manages premium level client engagements. As a 10-year industry veteran with experience both in-house and on the agency side, she is most passionate about building strategic, actionable and multi-dimensional Digital Marketing plans, training and education.
Outside the office, Alicia’s free time is spent at the gym and by the water with friends, family, and her Australian Shepherd, Brady.
As Vice President of Web Development, Christian drives emagine’s innovation in web and mobile development while providing technical guidance to emagine’s team of web developers and our clients. He has been an instrumental leading force behind emagine’s web development philosophy of sustainability and security.
Outside of work, Christian is a devoted husband, father of two and would-be musician.
Ariel leads emagine’s team of WordPress website support, maintenance and hosting specialists in providing consultative, concise and timely solutions to clients’ website issues and enhancement requests. His team takes a proactive approach to identifying client growth opportunities, establishing mutually beneficial business relationships and delivering strategic value to ensure the long-term success of our clients and their WordPress websites.
Ariel’s 20+ years of technical and business development experience started in his hometown of New York City and has evolved into successful history of developing, implementing and selling mobile applications, SaaS and on-premise enterprise solutions while establishing and maintaining long-term, meaningful business relationships with top-level decision makers.
Ariel holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Columbia University. His passions include his family (especially his precocious little boy, Greyson), basketball and actively contributing to community strengthening programs.
Rob is our clients’ “life saver”. With 7 years experience under his belt managing emagine’s maintenance department, Rob is now Quality Assurance Manager where he is responsible for creating the checks and balances to ensure a successful website development process. Rob’s belief in putting our clients’ needs first shows beyond just his QA work as clients repeatedly recognize and appreciate his level of customer service and responsiveness. In his spare time, Rob enjoys staying active by snowboarding, surfing, skating, biking & yoga, going on vacations and spending time with his family and friends.
As the Director of Business Development, Dawn works in tandem with emagine’s sales team and web strategists in determining prospective clients’ needs and finding solutions in their online marketing efforts. For more than a decade, Dawn has had phenomenal success heading up the lead-generation and nurturing efforts for emagine, focusing with laser-precision on our “core” prospects in select industries. On her free time, Dawn likes to “hit like a girl” at her weekly boxing classes, spend time with family & friends and go to the movies.
emagine’s “heavy lifter” and former Project Manager, Lauren made the move in 2013 to Client Strategy and Business Development. Lauren has formulated dozens of digital marketing strategies for clients ranging from High-Tech to Healthcare, Manufacturing and Professional Services. A former gym owner and current group fitness instructor, Lauren brings the same energy and vigor to emagine’s clients as she does to maintaining her own physique and health. In her “spare time”, Lauren enjoys downtime with her husband and two beautiful daughters.
As a Web & Messaging strategist, David helps emagine’s clients define and implement branding, messaging and website strategies. Previously, David was Vice President of Marketing at Gartner Group where he defined product strategy and developed new products aimed at increasing revenues in key client markets. Prior to Gartner, David served as National Sales Manager for a Technology Products Services Firm, leading a 100-plus sales organization. With a successful track record helping organizations grow over the last twenty years, David’s expertise involves collaboratively leveraging sales and marketing in a systematic fashion to foster efficiency and revenue growth.
As Director of Marketing Communications, Leah is responsible for developing, directing and executing emagine’s content marketing, social media and digital communications strategies. After graduating from NYU with her Master’s, Leah hit the healthcare agency scene working with top pharmaceutical companies on their digital strategies. Her high-energy personality and previous agency experience allows her to continuously learn new skills and concepts related to digital marketing. In her spare time, you can find Leah at Orange Theory Fitness, dining on “The Ave” with her husband, or Instagramming her 2-year old Cavapoo, #StellaWayneRose and 1-year old Cockapoo, #CarterJames.
As emagine’s Director of Project Management and Content, Joanne uses her experience in both Marketing and Technology to lead the Project Management team and partner with clients through the art and science of a website project. From discovery, design, content strategy, customer engagement, through to development, Joanne is passionate about bringing client goals to life and providing them with the most powerful tool for their digital marketing platform. With over 15 years of Technical, Marketing, and Project Management experience, spanning enterprise environments to technology start-ups, in sectors including pharmaceutical, healthcare, tech, financial, and non-profits, Joanne truly knows what is key in creating lasting project client experiences.
Tim Croteau is emagine’s UX Director. Since his start in 2005, Tim has guided dozens of clients through web content development, architecture of usable navigation, lead generation concepts, writing messaging that works, and the strategies behind building websites that users will instinctively be able to use to solve their problems. He is a true advocate for the end-users of emagine’s work, helping clients improve the usability of their websites, create compelling content, and increase lead generation. Outside of the office, Tim spends his time dabbling in more instruments and bits of design software than he’ll ever learn.
As a member of the emagine project management team, Kristin leads client’s through their web development process, ensuring the final result is a high-quality, revenue-generating website. Over the last year, Kristin has dedicated herself to providing pragmatic solutions to our clients problems while building strong, relationships that last a lifetime. Her expertise in global digital marketing propels her success in project management of complex multi-disciplinary business-to-business sites.
As a Project Manager at emagine, Kathryn works with clients leading their web projects from the initial project production schedule and status meetings, creative concept/designer discussions, site architecture rounds of iteration, scope approval to further define project, content development workshops, and internal project development meetings. Prior to joining emagine, Kathryn worked in digital marketing as an e-commerce Operations Manager for a B2C web business where she gained her technical and marketing-savvy to balance the complexities and processes required to execute flawless website projects. Outside of work, Kathryn enjoys staying active by practicing yoga and hiking with her family.
As a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist and emagine’s Social Media Specialist, Hannah works hand-in-hand with clients in all areas of Digital Marketing including creating and implementing SEO strategies as well as consulting for Social Media best practices. Previously to joining emagine’s Digital Marketing team, Hannah gained experience performing a multitude of marketing tactics for the entertainment industry such as content creation and distribution, social media and public relations. When she is not working, she enjoys decorating, shopping, and crafting.
“The glue” that keeps the company together, Anne literally touches all aspects of our business. From H.R., to Accounts Receivable, assisting project managers and all general company administration, Anne is the “turn-to” for answers. Her exceptional organizational and communication skills are not only an asset to emagine, but to our clients as well. At the start of her career, Anne worked with computers, troubleshooting hardware & software for a top software resale company before entering the corporate world as an Executive Secretary. On her free time, Anne enjoys traveling and staying active by speed walking and running.
Sarah Kundel is emagine’s Client Success Manager. She is the first line of defense for our maintenance clients via our help desk. Sarah looks forward to helping to organize and streamline emagine’s help desk processes and workflows. Sarah has a very diverse career history, and has done everything from living and working at a historical house museum, teaching poison prevention to elementary schoolers, writing luxury villa descriptions, and managing billboard schedules. She fostered her real passion for building client relationships in the insurance industry, though. Outside of work, Sarah loves camping, swimming, seeing movies, and going on adventures.
Dan has been toying with computers since the first Tandy 1000SX came out. As a member of the Web Development and Maintenance team, Dan is still adamant in keeping up with the rapidly evolving front end and Open Source technologies required to create the flexible and high level solutions that meet our client’s needs. After graduating from Gallaudet University in 1995 with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems, Dan first started out in the IT field before progressing to Software Development and then Web Development. Outside of development, Dan enjoys fishing, camping, watching sports and spending time with family and friends.
As the Digital Marketing Support Manager, Norm oversees and participates in the completion of Digital Marketing tasks, conducting keyword analysis for SEO clients and performing on-site optimization. Having over 13 years of Internet marketing experience, Norm is a searching wiz, digging down and dirty into researching how users are searching and expertly applying that information to On-Site SEO, Off-Site SEO, and Content Optimization. Prior military experience as well as 6 years as a purchasing agent backs his success. On his off time, you can find Norm watching movies, writing and spending time with his family.
As a Digital Marketing Associate, Chad reviews the quality of SEO, social media and content initiatives to recommend appropriate and strategic enhancements to clients. Along with these quality assurance measures, he also assists with keyword research and keyword strategy development by monitoring search term traffic volumes to ensure optimal digital marketing performance for each client.
Coming from a background in graphic, multimedia and web design, Chad’s previous experience includes creating visual cues to effectively guide web users through the pages of a site, implementing SEO into content management systems, and creating a magnitude of promotional products.
In his free time, Chad can be found illustrating, playing music or just spending the day outside.
Anna is a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist and Pay-per-Click (PPC) strategist at emagine. She oversees and manages client accounts to ensure peak performance for PPC campaigns including Google Paid Search, Display, Remarketing and Social Media Advertising. Savvy in all things PPC, she plans, executes and analyzes unique strategies to optimize campaigns to the fullest extent.
Anna has a B.S. in Marketing from Providence College where she was a member of the American Marketing Association and the Board of Multicultural Student Association.
Prior to emagine, Anna discovered her love of marketing while interning at a tourism advertising agency in Barcelona, Spain. Since then, Anna has gained experience managing paid search and social media campaigns in various industries, both locally and internationally. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, wine tasting, road trips and traveling the world.
As a Digital Marketing Strategist at emagine, Meara Santoro works closely with clients to brainstorm, implement, and evaluate on-site SEO strategies. Her incredible attention to detail and never-ending tenacity to learn new skills proves her true passion for helping businesses build, perfect, and measure their SEO and other online marketing strategies. Prior to joining emagine, Meara spent several years working in an agency as the lead Account Manager helping various B2B and B2C companies develop their strategies and reach their goals. When she is not working, Meara enjoys walking her dog Peyope, spending time with friends and trying new restaurants in Providence.
As a Digital Marketing Associate at emagine, Lauren researches and implements SEO strategies for our clients. She also assists with keyword research and reporting. Her strong background in writing and editing helps her make quality recommendations for webpages and blog posts. Lauren enjoys supporting our clients in their mission to create the best possible content for their individual brands. Outside of the office, Lauren enjoys working out, reading, cooking, and watching Netflix. She also enjoys time outside and spends most of her weekends in the park attempting to pet fluffy animals. Mostly puppies, but she does not discriminate against cats and other cute critters.
As a Content Implementation Manager, Courtney works closely with emagine’s Production team to organize and input new website content for clients. She facilitates emagine’s CMS training session in WordPress and assists in familiarizing clients with the backend of their new website.
With her extensive experience and knowledge of content creation for both print advertisements and digital media, Courtney is well-equipped to provide pragmatic solutions to clients’ overall online messaging and website content. Courtney holds a BA in English and Philosophy from Providence College.
Outside of the office, she can be found buried in a book, taking a swim, or binge-watching bad television with her dog, Riley.
Melanie is a Content Implementation Manager at emagine and works closely with the production team to organize and input content for clients’ websites. Melanie also provides initial WordPress training and ongoing support to emagine’s clients while their site is still in production. Prior to joining emagine, Melanie worked at digital marketing agency managing social media, email marketing, and blog content for B2B and B2C companies in various industries. She has extensive experience in content creation in both digital media and print. Outside of the office, Melanie enjoys relaxing on the beach in Newport, kickboxing, traveling, and attending craft beer festivals.
Vin is a Web Designer here at emagine. He works closely with the Project and Design teams to understand, translate requirements, and ensure designs are consistent with emagine’s exceptionally high standards for elegant aesthetics and usability. Vin has a bachelor’s degree in Graphics, Multimedia, Web from New England Tech in Rhode Island and has worked in the creative industry for over 3 years both at local agencies and as freelancer. When his not at the computer designing cool stuff you can catch him at the beach relaxing or going on spontaneous adventures.
As a Business Development Analyst, Krystal works with emagine’s sales and marketing teams to identify high-value prospective clients in the company’s core sectors and to establish and maintain relationships with them. After spending over 8 years in the U.S. Navy and traveling the world on aircraft carriers, Krystal decided to enter civilian life and obtain her Marketing degree from Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts. Outside of the office, Krystal enjoys Zumba classes, traveling, reading books on digital marketing and laying by the pool with her 6-pound chihuahua, Jessie.
As a Business Development Representative, Claudia is a key member of emagine’s Business Development team and is focused on identifying and building relationships with companies and contacts within emagine’s core industries. Her responsibilities include lead generation and nurturing with a personalized approach.
Prior to joining emagine, Claudia worked in Human Resources as a Corporate Employment Recruiter. When she’s not keeping in touch with clients, she is keeping in touch with friends and family and enjoys being by the ocean or taking group classes at the gym.
As our Web and Messaging Strategist for the Southeast Region, Heidi works with clients to strategically develop web messaging that distinguishes them among competitors. Previously, Heidi worked for Wells Marketing, developing promotions for Visa International, Wells Fargo Banks, Intuit, and Charles Schwab before moving to D.C. to work as an Account Executive at West & Associates, where she discovered her passion for developing financial and high-tech brands. Heidi loves cooking & wine pairing, her spoiled dog Luke, country music, and playing the drums in her church band.
Jake is a Web Developer at emagine where he works with the Development team to provide our clients with custom web solutions that will grow with their needs. A WordPress expert with a decade of experience, Jake truly eats, sleeps, lives, and breathes development. His dedication to improving and learning new skills allows him to tackle any challenge that comes his way. Jake’s belief in “the harder the challenge, the greater the reward, and the better the results” is proven across all aspects of his work.
As the Technical Specialist on the Digital Marketing team, Craig uses his 9+ years of experience to problem solve and implement actionable solutions. His content management system experience includes WordPress, Drupal, Kentico and Joomla.
Craig leverages the new age of analytics management with the use of Google Tag Manager as a sustainable option for clients’ analytics needs. In addition, Craig also provides content implementation and development assistance to the Web Support and Maintenance and Production teams.
In his spare time, Craig likes coaching youth football, lacrosse, golfing, skiing, and spending time with family and friends.
As emagine’s Business Development Coordinator, Bobbi works closely with both the Business Development and Sales team to identify qualified clients in emagine’s core industries. Before moving to South Florida and joining the emagine team, Bobbi worked for Jet Blue at Logan International Airport working in various roles such as preparing aircrafts for departure, assisting passengers and checking tickets. In her free time, she can be found acrylic painting and playing with her precious dog, Sashi.
As emagine’s Administrative Specialist, Jeanne works closely with our Office Manager, overseeing everything from H.R., to Accounts Receivable, assisting project managers and all general company administration. The Queen G* of our South Florida office, Jeanne’s keen awareness for anticipating problems before they arise along with her superb organizational skills ensures that all company procedures continue to run at maximum efficiency. Prior to calling South Florida home, Jeanne worked as an Accounting Supervisor at a pharmaceutical corporation for 20 years. On her spare time, she enjoys her weekly water aerobics classes, going to the movies, and reading.
Robert Vreeland came on board with emagine in the Maintenance department in May of 2009, working hand in hand with the emagine designers, to code and implement custom modules and site modifications. As aMaintenance team member, Robert works across the board on the fleet of sites hosted by emagine, primarily within the Microsoft .NET platform and including ASP Classic, but also as an active resource for LAMP development and troubleshooting in WordPress, Joomla and stand alone PHP sites. Prior to joining emagine, Robert was webmaster for Reed & Barton for two years, where he built and maintained their retail ecommerce and dealer resources sites. In his personal time, Robert is an avid reader, member of a local Fraternal organization active in local charities, and occasionally puts on his BFA hat and sculpts or draws.
Brittany is a Web Developer with over 8 years of experience. At emagine, she is a member of the Production team where she builds custom WordPress websites, implementing code that is clean and consistently meeting the highest of web standards.
Prior to joining emagine, Brittany worked for an advertising agency as both a WordPress and Drupal developer. Her role included front end development, theming and customizing content management systems, HTML email coding, and Web application development, as well as social media strategy and maintenance.
When Brittany isn’t providing comical relief in the office, you can find her pretending to be a tortured musical genius, at an arcade bar, or binge watching Star Trek on Netflix.
As a Digital Marketing Strategist and PPC Specialist at emagine, Danielle executes calculated digital strategies to help clients maximize revenue and achieve their goals. With a strong background in bid modeling and data analysis, Danielle knows exactly how to optimize campaigns to make the most of search and social advertising initiatives. Prior to working at emagine, Danielle was a Senior Account Manager at a digital marketing agency, working extensively with B2B, SaaS, and B2C clients. In her free time, Danielle loves word games, watching old movies, volunteering at a non-profit, and spoiling her cat.
