About the Opportunity

Compensation: $50,000 base salary plus commission

emagineHealth is an experienced Business Development Representative to join our team during this high-growth period. emagineHealth is the Digital-First agency for Healthcare and Life Sciences. With 26 years in business and unmatched web development and digital marketing experience in the Health sectors, you’ll be joining an elite account team in the world of healthcare marketing.

You will be working directly with our account team and Director of Business Development on efforts to attract, engage and nurture various contacts from our targeted list of prospective client companies.

Note: this is not a marketing position – this is 100% an outbound prospecting/lead generation role utilizing a combination of email and LinkedIn to connect with, reach out to, and nurture prospects

We are looking for an engaging individual who understands that B2B business development is a marathon, not a sprint. Someone with experience and success in lead generation/prospecting. Someone who knows the importance of consistency and perseverance in business development and that results don’t happen overnight.

The Kind of Things You Will Work On

  • Perpetual maintenance of our list of target prospects in our CRM (Hubspot), as people are constantly moving around within companies, moving to new companies, retiring, etc.
  • emailing prospects on a scheduled basis with a mix of message templates that you will personalize based on various factors (news items related to the prospect, upcoming events, something they might post on LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Connecting with and engaging target prospects on LinkedIn
  • Sharing relevant articles or emagine-generated content with prospects
  • Collaborating with our account team on various tactics or offers to be tested with to generate interest from prospects
  • Qualify and provide leads to the account team
  • Follow up with the account team ensuring that all prospect calls/meetings are properly notated in our CRM, along with any appropriate follow-up action items
  • Nurture/follow up with leads over time who are not immediately sales-ready

  • B2B prospecting/lead generation experience and success
  • Excellent writing/communicating skills
  • Able to take direction, but also to test and improvise
  • Collaborative spirit, but also able to work very independently
  • Detail-oriented, organizing and scheduling follow-ups for yourself and the account team
  • Able to conduct research to track down the appropriate decision makers within our target companies
  • Patient with the administrative side of business development in terms of contact research, notes, follow-ups
  • Collaborative personality, able to develop/nurture relationships with prospects
  • Self-sufficient, entrepreneurial attitude
  • A willingness and interest in learning about various healthcare and marketing topics
