CINGAL® is a unique combination product that delivers strong results so patients with early to moderate osteoarthritis may once again enjoy daily physical activities with reduced pain.
Cingal is the product launch website of the parent company Anika Therapeutics. This product site needed to be accessible and usable for patients and physicians alike.
It also needed to be compliant according to content intended for physicians only while still providing information for patients to assist in their choice of Cingal as a product for their particular ailment.
The main objectives for the new Cingal site were to provide information, market the product, validate credibility, and educate and differentiate within the market. The new design also balances a connection to the parent company, Anika Therapeutics, showcasing Cingal as its own identity.
To start, there would be various audience segments visiting the site. They included Physicians, Patients and Distributors. So, we needed to appeal to each group with the site architecture and design.
The creative direction was set by large, inspiring imagery and a fresh look and feel.
Furthermore, the differentiation between the Physician and Patient-facing sections is important to note. The Physician section shares content that is geared toward medical and clinical information: the science, indication, mechanism of action and application. The Patient area is where the product is showcased according to its benefit in treatment pain of osteoarthritis.
From an SEO standpoint, our main focus was on building awareness in the EU market prior to FDA approval in the US.
