iSpecimen is the marketplace for human biospecimen collections, providing researchers with the specimens they need from the patients they want.
As an existing client whose website we previously redesigned, iSpecimen started working with us on their SEO initiatives in April 2016 to develop a digital marketing strategy that would increase traffic to their website and improve lead generation on their website.
A site-wide optimization strategy was implemented based on extensive keyword research and analysis. Upon completion of the initial website optimization in July 2016, iSpecimen continued to work with us to improve visibility in search engines, ranking for their most important keywords and drawing greater volume of website traffic from organic search.
These improvements were accomplished through continually creating and optimizing fresh content as well as monitoring the website for potential technical issues that could have a negative effect on the website’s SEO success. Additionally, based on the data from performance reports and insight into how visitors are interacting with the website, a User Experience Strategy was developed and executed to improve overall usability.
iSpecimen.com saw an increase in Organic traffic of more than 36% (March 2015 – January 2016 vs. March 2016 – January 2017). In addition to increased organic visits as well as total visits, conversions (goal completions) increased by 134%.
