Challenge
When we started working with Svelte in 2015, they were a pre-commercialization start-up company that was planning a soft launch model in Europe.
Their business goal was to create market awareness and product acceptance in Europe first, followed by the US and Japan.
We needed to provide information, validate credibility and showcase Svelte’s portfolio to position them in a favorable light.
Strategy
Svelte’s goals and target audience – strategic medical device companies, referring cardiologists, opinion leading interventional cardiologists, patients and venture capitalists – required a restructuring of their site architecture.
Step one included implementing a site architecture and navigation that brings the technology, benefits, outcomes and techniques to the forefront. We made clinical outcome data, cost savings, differentiators, and success factors easily accessible.
After we restructured the organization of information that would resonate with website visitors, we moved on to the design portion. Svelte’s device is designed to simplify and streamline coronary stenting procedures – a theme we expressed through the site’s design.
We chose clean, precise, confident imagery that is in line with the features and benefits of Svelte’s all-in-one technology. With an imagery-heavy website, we were vigilant in our image choices because we know how important it is to portray surgical images accurately.
