Challenge

TPx Communications (formerly TelePacific Communications) was in the process of merging with DSCI Corporation. The perception of TPx in the market was a misconception that all providers are the same: rigid solutions, impersonal, “my way or the highway” mentality.

TPx wanted to break away from the misconceptions and establish themselves as an industry thought leader. As part of the merger, a major goal for TPx was to carve out a distinct and genre-defining identity as a managed services carrier that resonates with customers, employees and the channel.

Since their target audience typically needed three quotes from providers, TPx’s new site needed to assure they are one of the three at the table.

Strategy

To start, we worked with TPx on their new brand position and messaging. This included a Branding Workshop where we dissected What TPx does, How TPx does it, Who TPx does it for and Why TPx does what they do.

The outcome of this work was the development of TPx’s new branding positioning that focused on Knowing, Connectedness, Guaranteed.

Next, we dove into the site architecture and wireframing by outlining the main doors into deeper sections and drafting how it’s all presented on the homepage. The main positioning statement is at the forefront with supporting customer-centric identifiers like capabilities, testimonials, resources.

The new site is perfectly modern without being too trendy. We took this approach for a site that wouldn’t appear outdated too soon. A clean and simple design was applied that makes it effortless to browse, yet sophisticated attention to detail exists with creative treatments throughout that are consistent with TPx’s branding.
